-When greeting someone or a group of people in the Philippines, one should be careful to respectfully greet the eldest person first, usually with a handshake.
-If invited into a home, one should bring the host a gift of flowers or dessert, but never a food dish, as this is perceived as rude.
-Most importantly, don't ever forget to bring an umbrella along when going out. :)
